What is an AI agent, and how is it different from a chatbot?
A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent can also do work: read a document, check your CRM, prepare a draft, create a task and tell you what it has done. In practice, the difference is that an agent can use your business tools, so it matters who controls it and what it can do without asking.
ForgeNEX's AI agent is used through Pix, our app for Windows, macOS and Android. For now, that is the only way to use it: it is not available through WhatsApp, email or an embedded website. Talk to it as you would a colleague: if you can explain it to someone, you can explain it to Pix. No IT knowledge needed.

Privacy, control and limits
Your data stays in the European Union: our servers are in Germany, and the AI runs on Azure data centres in the EU. Actions outside the app are logged (who and where, never the content) so the account manager can review them.
AI usage is included in your plan. Pix warns you at 80% and 95% of the monthly allowance. At 100%, it stops responding until the next month unless you upgrade. Current plans and prices are on the product page.
When an agent makes sense, and when something simpler is enough
If you need a single workflow that never changes—for example, notifying someone when a form comes in—a simple automation is often enough and cheaper to maintain. An agent helps when the work changes each time: a different quote, a document unlike the last one, or an email you need to understand before replying.

Yes, as a tool: the agent can work with apps that connect through their API, including WhatsApp Business, using a session you start and asking before it sends anything. The tools it works with are separate from the channel you use to talk to it: that is Pix only.
