At ForgeNEX, we have implemented advanced home automation solutions based on Home Assistant for modern offices. This success story shows how intelligent automation can improve energy efficiency, security, and productivity in work environments.
Our client, a medium-sized company, faced common problems: lights on in empty rooms, uncontrolled HVAC, and lack of integration between security systems. They needed a centralized platform to unify all IoT devices. We installed Home Assistant on a dedicated Linux server, following best security practices. We integrated presence sensors, smart thermostats, electronic locks, and IP cameras. Advanced automation allows lights to turn off automatically when no one is present, temperature to adjust based on occupancy, and alarms to activate outside working hours.
In three months, the company reduced its energy consumption by 30%. Perimeter security was strengthened with real-time alerts and remote access.
