Diagnosis
What is holding your company back, in writing
We review your network, your devices, your backups and your tools, and we leave you in writing what is failing, what it costs you and what to fix first.
What is seen and what is not
A network that drops, backups that nobody has tested, programs that do not talk to each other: we look at the technology and at how your team works with it.
- Network and connection
- Devices, backups and access
- Tools and processes
Sorted by what costs you the most
Each finding, with its risk and what it costs to fix, so you can decide where to start.
- Risks ordered by importance
- What to fix first
- In writing, to decide calmly
And then, if you want, we fix it
The plan is yours: you can carry it out with us or with whoever you like.
- Written plan
- No commitment to hire us
- Support and maintenance if you need it

Why start with a diagnosis
When something goes wrong with IT, the usual reaction is to react: buy a device, sign up for another program, change supplier. Sometimes that hits the mark; sometimes money is spent on the wrong thing. A diagnosis for businesses puts the facts on the table first: what is really failing, what risk it poses and what it costs to fix, ordered from most to least important.
It is not a study of hundreds of pages: it is a document you can read and decide from. And the plan is yours: you can carry it out with us or with whoever you like.
- You decide with data, not with the urgency of the day.
- You know what to fix first and what can wait.
- You avoid buying what is not needed.
- No commitment to hire anything from us.
What we review and what you take away from each part
We look at the technology and at how your team works with it, because very often the problem lies between the two.
| What we look at | The question we answer | What you take away |
|---|---|---|
| Network and connection | Does it drop, is it slow, is it documented? | What is failing and why |
| Devices | Are they up to date and protected? | What needs updating or replacing and what does not |
| Backups | Do they exist, are they complete and have they been tested? | Whether you could really recover |
| Access | Who can access what, and is it well organised? | Access ranked by importance |
| Tools and processes | Do the programs talk to each other, or is data copied by hand from one to another? | Where time is lost every week |
Diagnosis, self-assessment or other ways to start
There are other ways to start, and ours is not always needed.
| When it is worth it | Its limit | |
|---|---|---|
| Self-assessment on your own (for example, the INCIBE tool) | To get a first idea of your level of risk, in about 5 minutes | It is a questionnaire: it does not look at your real network or devices |
| Asking a supplier for a quote for the fix | When you already know what you want fixed | The quote starts from what you think is failing, which is not always the cause |
| Written diagnosis (ForgeNEX) | When you do not know where to start or want a second opinion | It is a one-off review: a snapshot of today, not continuous monitoring |

How we rank what we find
Each finding is explained with its risk and what it costs to fix. The idea is simple: first comes whatever combines the most risk with the lowest cost to fix. That way you decide calmly, without everything looking equally urgent.
Illustrative example of what a summary looks like (it is not any customer's report):
| Finding | Risk | Effort to fix | Order |
|---|---|---|---|
| Backups that nobody has tried to restore | High: if something fails, there is no way back | Low: test and correct | 1st |
| Employee and guest Wi-Fi on the same network | Medium | Low | 2nd |
| Two programs that force you to duplicate data by hand | Low, but it wastes time every week | Medium | 3rd |
The calculation: what you do not see today costs you
Many IT costs appear on no invoice: they are minutes lost, spread across many people. Formula: people × time lost per day × working days × cost per hour.
Example calculation (illustrative assumptions; replace them with your own): 10 people lose 20 minutes a day to slowness, outages and data copied by hand, over 220 days a year, at a cost of 18 € per hour: 10 × (20/60 h) × 220 × 18 = 13.200 € a year. Your figure will be different, but it is almost never zero.
The diagnosis is precisely for putting in your numbers, not those of an example, and comparing them with what it costs to fix.
Example calculation with our own assumptions; it is not real data or a promised result.
Case study: a firm that was thinking of buying a server
Sometimes the diagnosis avoids an expense.
Case study: the backups that “were being made”
It is the most frequent finding in any review of this kind.

What we hand over and what you do with it
We hand over a written plan: what is failing, with what risk, what it costs to fix and in what order. With that you can do three things: carry it out yourself, commission it from whoever you like or commission it from us, as a project or with support and maintenance.
The cost of the diagnosis is quoted according to the size and what needs reviewing: ask us for a quote and we will tell you what it includes before we start. If you are looking for a broader review (cloud, migration, AI, software), see our consultancy. On security, in cybersecurity we explain what we install and sell and which companies we work with.
- Written plan, with risks ranked by importance.
- No commitment to hire.
- Support and maintenance only if you need it.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the diagnosis cost?+
It is quoted according to the size of your business and what needs reviewing. Ask us for a quote and we will specify what it includes before we start.
Do I have to hire you for the fix?+
No. The plan is yours: you can carry it out with us or with whoever you like. There is no commitment to hire anything else.
What exactly do I receive?+
A written document with what is failing, the risk of each item, what it costs to fix and what is best done first.
Is it the same as a cybersecurity audit?+
No. The diagnosis looks at IT as a whole (network, devices, backups, tools) and how your team works with it; it is not a security audit, which ForgeNEX does not carry out. ForgeNEX works with specialised companies to offer cybersecurity services through them: see cybersecurity.
Can you do it if I am outside Sevilla?+
The part that can be seen remotely, across Spain. What requires being physically there (for example, checking the cabling) we only do in Sevilla. We tell you when quoting.
How long does it take?+
It depends on the size and on what needs looking at. We give you the timescale when quoting, not before: we prefer not to promise one without knowing your case.
