Technology advances at a dizzying pace, but some companies prove that solidity is built with patience, trust, and a clear strategy. Syvalue, a company specialized in technological infrastructure, professional services, and modernization solutions, celebrates two decades of trajectory with a business model that defies market trends: being an exclusive HPE Platinum partner and betting heavily on artificial intelligence (AI) without neglecting the foundations that support it.

Javier Martín Yagüe, CEO of Syvalue, is clear: “Companies are built on trust.” And that trust has materialized in a strategic alliance with HPE that has lasted two decades. Faced with the widespread trend of being multi-vendor, Syvalue opted for deep specialization. “If you want to have value capabilities across all the infrastructure you sell, it is very difficult to achieve that level with all manufacturers,” explains Martín Yagüe. This decision, which some consultants considered risky, has become its greatest strength: being HPE's first Platinum partner in Spain and maintaining a loyalty that generates joint projects and mutual growth.
Specialization not only provides technical knowledge but also generates trust from the manufacturer. “The manufacturer doesn't know if you will go with them or with their competitor,” says the CEO, highlighting that exclusivity avoids conflicts of interest and allows tackling larger projects.
Syvalue has managed to evolve with the market. From traditional servers and storage to as-a-service models and artificial intelligence, the company has adjusted its value proposition. “If you stop adapting, you go downhill,” states Martín Yagüe. This ability to react has been tested with the emergence of AI, which has changed the conversation with clients. “Now everyone talks about it, but you can only grow if you reacted appropriately at the time,” he adds.
A clear example is its relationship with the Ministry of Defense, which demands AI solutions in multiple areas. Syvalue has had to invest heavily in training and talent to meet expectations. “We focused on it back then, and now we are reaping the fruits of that investment,” comments the CEO.

Aware that AI is a revolution, Syvalue has created Zainex IA, a company exclusively dedicated to this technology. “We believe it is so important and differentiating that we have partnered with a small, highly specialized company to combine their technical knowledge with our experience,” details Martín Yagüe. The goal is to have deep capabilities to tackle AI projects with clients, a factor they consider “totally differentiating for the future.”
However, AI does not replace existing infrastructure but relies on it. “In many projects, the infrastructure needed to tackle AI accounts for 80 or 85% of the economic volume. Many clients set up their AI solutions on their own private or hybrid cloud. AI is fundamental, but without everything underneath, it is impossible,” states Martín Yagüe. This vision directly connects with the importance of a solid architecture, as analyzed in our article on Model Routers: the new intelligence layer redefining AI infrastructure.
Ignacio Arganda Martínez, general director of Syvalue, adds: “AI will be decisive in the coming years. We have high-performance computing solutions with Nvidia GPUs, and that requires technical, pre-sales, and commercial readaptation.” But most importantly, he emphasizes, is the deployment of AI solutions in the service domain, not just infrastructure.
One of the main obstacles to bringing AI into production is the lack of prepared talent. “In Spain, there is a very significant deficit in AI training,” laments Martín Yagüe. While in infrastructure someone can be trained in months, in AI training takes years. That is why Syvalue has chosen to partner with specialists rather than trying to develop all knowledge internally.
The company also boasts low staff turnover, a result of a talent care policy. “People are well taken care of, they have a future perspective, and economically, we try to meet market standards,” explains the CEO. This stability is key to maintaining client trust and execution capability.
Syvalue does not limit itself to selling infrastructure; it offers complete solutions that combine hardware with specialized services. “If you do that, you are just another one,” admits Martín Yagüe. “What we sell is a solution, a project that combines infrastructure and specialized services.” This service layer is what differentiates them and allows them to compete with large integrators.
Financial strength is another pillar. All profits have been reinvested in the company, accumulating equity that allows them to execute projects of up to 50 million euros per quarter without relying on third parties. “That is based on the trust of wholesalers, on demonstrating for years that you can support those payments,” he states.

With 20 years of experience, Syvalue faces a future where AI will be a protagonist, but without forgetting that the foundation remains infrastructure. “We live on profits, not revenue. What matters is client trust. Resolving projects on time and in full, with total guarantee,” concludes Martín Yagüe.
For companies seeking to modernize, Syvalue's lesson is clear: specialization, trust, and adaptability are more important than following trends. And in a world where AI advances by leaps and bounds, having a solid foundation is essential. As explored in our article on Real-time personalization: why architecture is the true engine of ranking, infrastructure remains the pillar on which innovation is built.
