In a market where manufacturer diversification is often the norm, Syvalue has proven that extreme specialization can be a winning strategy. The company, celebrating its twentieth anniversary, has built its success on an exclusive relationship with HPE —of which it is a Platinum partner in Spain— and an adaptability that has allowed it to ride the wave of artificial intelligence without losing sight of the underlying infrastructure.

Javier Martín Yagüe, CEO of Syvalue, is clear: “Trust is the foundation of everything.” And that trust has materialized in a decision that many would consider risky: working exclusively with HPE. Far from limiting its business, this bet has been key to its growth. “You build a trust relationship with the manufacturer, and that helps you develop much more business,” he explains. Ignacio Arganda Martínez, general manager, adds that closeness to the customer is a differentiating value: “Living day-to-day with their needs allows us to detect problems and anticipate requests.”
Specialization not only generates loyalty but also allows reaching a level of knowledge that would be impossible with multiple brands. “We were the first Platinum partner of HPE in Spain. It is impossible to have that degree of specialization with multiple brands,” says Martín Yagüe. This strategy, although questioned by some consultants, has proven its effectiveness in the company's results.
Artificial intelligence has changed the conversation with customers. Syvalue has responded by creating Zainex IA, a company dedicated exclusively to this technology, in partnership with a specialized firm. “We believe it is so important and differentiating that we have partnered with a small, highly specialized company to combine their technical knowledge with our experience,” says Martín Yagüe.
However, the CEO warns that AI does not replace existing infrastructure but rather relies on it. “In many projects, the infrastructure needed to address AI accounts for 80 or 85% of the economic volume. Many customers build their AI solutions on their own private or hybrid cloud. AI is fundamental, but without everything underneath, it is impossible.” This vision aligns with the trend of building systems that AI agents need, where the technological foundation is as critical as the algorithms.

One of the main obstacles to bringing AI into production is the lack of prepared talent. “In Spain, there is a very significant deficit in AI training,” points out Martín Yagüe. While someone can be trained in infrastructure in months, AI training takes years. That is why Syvalue has chosen to partner with specialists rather than trying to develop that knowledge internally.
The company's low turnover is an indicator that the bet on talent works. “People are well taken care of, they have a future outlook, and economically, we try to be at market level,” he states. This stability is key to maintaining specialization and trust with customers.
Syvalue does not sell infrastructure alone. “If you do that, you are just another one. What we sell is a solution, a project that combines infrastructure and specialized services,” explains Martín Yagüe. This service layer is what sets them apart, along with continuous training that they consider an investment, not an expense.
Financial strength, built by reinvesting all profits for two decades, allows them to compete with large integrators. “We have credit lines with wholesalers, direct agreements with HPE, and a financial base that allows us to execute projects of up to 50 million euros per quarter,” he details. This capability is especially relevant in projects requiring advanced security configurations and high availability.

With 20 years of trajectory, Syvalue faces a constantly evolving market. AI will be decisive in the coming years, but the company does not neglect traditional technologies. “Every advance requires a maturation time, and in the meantime, we must continue to meet demands from previous technologies,” concludes Martín Yagüe. The key is to maintain the trust, specialization, and adaptability that have brought them this far.
